Crafting Projects with Fallen Leaves

We’ve been having some fun with all the fallen leaves around. I’ve been keeping my eye out on walks to the park and the library for some really cool looking leaves. There’s a giant maple tree on the way to the library near us that is shedding some beautiful red and yellow leaves. After collecting, I’m drying and pressing them in old magazines to help preserve them for a few fun projects we’ve been making.

Leaf Feather Turkeys over at Babycenter are a perfect activity for little ones on Thanksgiving. Just prep your leaves ahead of time and you’ll have a fun activity to do while the turkey is in the oven.
